All of the car rental companies were out of stock of the category of vehicle that I needed, and I had just about given up my search, when I received a from Giovanni saying that he had found the vehicle that I s looking for. They take the hassle out of finding a rental vehicle and they don't give up until they have found what you are looking for. It s an absolute joy dealing with the team at Drive South Africa and I will never book a vehicle through anyone else!

I use DSA regularly and have done for many of years, making on average 3 bookings per year. Service is excellent, I have on a number of occassions had to modify bookings and this has always been organised quickly and efficiently. I routinely check prices against other providers and am confident that DSA offers the best price. Additional factors in my choice is that I can organise zero excess without this involving a separate insurance policy (which is not always the case) and can confirm cross-border arrangements at the time of booking. I am also able to make specific requests which are passed on to the hire companies. I have booked cars through DSA in South Africa and Eswatini on 20+ occassions without a single issue.

In general the service s ok and we could do our vacations through Botswana. The vehicle sn’t in the best condition and it’s a real impudence that we are not getting back our deposit although we booked the super cover option. Even after many requests we are being ignored. No recommendations!

The rental experience itself s good, but the head office staff seems to be pathetic. Susan, Elsie, Michelle; you are making my life a living hell, and that is just to get you to me back!!!!!
I got a speeding fine - very small amount - and Hertz has now deducted this plus admin change off my Credit Card account 4 times!!!!! Does not seem that they are interested in fixing this at all. Complete lack of responsibility or customer service.
effectively these employees have rendered Hertz a thief because in total they have stolen R1200 from me now for more than a month!
