Bride & Co

I s advised against this branch by a friend but decided to go anyway. She mentioned it felt too commercial, and unfortunately I have to agree.
From the moment I arrived, I felt invisible. There s no one behind the counters, and I had to actively look for someone to assist me, eve. Though I had a scheduled booking. When I e did get help, I explained the styles I liked, but there were no recommendations or guidance — no “this style would suit you” or "these dresses match your brief"suggestions at all. I s expected to pick out my own dresses entirely.
During the fittings, I s left alone in the fitting room and told the consultant would be just outside. However, every time I struggled to put a dress on or needed help, she s nowhere to be found. I had to open the curtain and it for her to return. This happened with all four dresses I tried on.
It’s unrealistic to expect brides to put on and take off wedding dresses by themselves. The overall environment s noisy and impersonal — it didn’t feel like a boutique experience at all.
I left feeling overlooked and unsupported. I’m grateful this sn’t my first bridal fitting, because it could have been very discouraging. I would strongly recommend that first-time bridal dress fitters consider a smaller, more personal boutique instead, as this experience s not it.

Thank you so much to the Bride & Co team for helping me select my dream special-occasion dress. I s assisted by Kate and Jane, who were absolutely lovely. I briefly explained what I s looking for, and Kate showed me this beautiful dress that I probably would never have tried on if she hadn’t suggested it. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw myself in the mirror, and so did my family.
Pro tip: it doesn’t hurt to try on the dress! If a consultant suggests something you’re unsure about, give it a chance, it might be the one.
The tailors were also super helpful and amazing at what they do, they tailored a suit for us and adjusted my dress straps perfectly.

What a pleasure it s to deal with the amazing ladies of Bride and Co. They were so helpful, so lovely and accommodating and our experience s a ten out of ten. Thank you for the excellent service. This is the second dress we have bought from them. Both times the experience s outstanding.

Terrible service!
I’m extremely disappointed by the level of service I received at Bride&Co Rivonia. When I lked into the store, several staff members were gathered near the payment desk, chatting amongst themselves — no one greeted me or offered any assistance.
I browsed for quite a while without help, and when I s looking through one of the racks, a staff member actually pushed in front of me to show another customer the exact same dresses I s viewing. She didn’t even have the decency to it until I s done before shoving past me to assist someone she apparently deemed more worthy of attention. Later, when I finally found a dress I nted to try on, it became another struggle just to get someone’s attention. One staff member eventually pointed — rather rudely — toward a fitting room at the back, without offering any further assistance.
I genuinely don’t understand why I s treated so dismissively. The lack of professionalism and courtesy completely ruined what should have been a special and memorable experience shopping for a wedding dress.
The dresses themselves are beautiful, and I did end up buying one that I absolutely loved — but the staff’s attitude and behavior were completely unacceptable. Ironically, the customer who s prioritized over me when I s shoved out of the y to show her the same dresses, left the store without purchasing anything.
If you’re looking for a wedding dress at Bride&Co, avoid the Rivonia branch at all costs!

I cannot thank Pinky and the amazing team enough for making my dream wedding dress a reality! My journey to finding the perfect dress didn’t start well—at another bridal store, a consultant told me I s too fat and needed to lose weight before I could find something that fit. That experience left me feeling discouraged and heartbroken.
But then I lked into this store, and everything changed. Pinky welcomed me with rmth, kindness, and genuine care. She pulled dresses that fit me perfectly, making me feel beautiful, confident, and truly like a bride. When I finally found the dress, I s overjoyed but worried about not being able to pay upfront. Instead of turning me away, the team went above and beyond to make my dream come true.
Thanks to them, I’ll be lking down the aisle in a dress that makes me feel like the best version of myself. If you're a plus-size bride or anyone who nts to feel valued and celebrated, I cannot recommend this team enough!

Took his time and went out of his y to explain in detail the importance of a suit, and a how to dress well and which colour would suit my skin tone pertaining suits. I'm very grateful of you.

The most amazing experience shopping for a dress, it’s my 21st and the staff here made me feel so beautiful in my dress. They are so helpful and made adjustments to my dress on such a short time crunch that we had. They are the best!!

Extremely Disappointing Experience
I had a terrible experience with bride & co.
From start to finish, the service s completely unprofessional. Communication s poor — messages went unanswered, and updates were nonexistent. When my suits finally arrived, they looked like they’d been pulled straight out of a storage box — wrinkled, not ironed. For a company that claims to specialize in tailored suits, the lack of care and attention to detail is shocking. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere
