Party Hire and Event Setups

Terrible and unprofessional customer experience.
We had our sons birthday at a venue and paid upfront a couple thousand for the service. On the day, the lady who does the set ups ed and said she s running late. She s meant to be at the venue at 1pm to set up and said she will be there at 1:30pm. We understand life happens but the subsequent proceedings have led to us taking the necessary steps to rn the public on utilizing this companies services.
1) after 1:30pm we tried to but she didn't pick up our s. We had to use another number to and when she answered, she s very rude and tried to pass blame unto us. She said she didn't have an ETA as they still needed to pick up the required items for set up. 1st point highlights how unprofessional they are and that they didn't plan properly.
2) They were unreachable after we tried to from a few different numbers. Eventually they rocked up at 3:12pm and our event s basically done. She only said sorry and we told her it s pointless to set up now as the event s done and said we nted a refund which on-site s agreed.
3) when we sent our bank details for a refund, we were informed that per their T&Cs, they didn't refund and we should of told them to not come. We tried numerous times to but they didn't answer so this cannot be our problem that they were not informed
4) they are refusing to refund us for a service which we did not use because of their tardiness and unprofessional conduct and basically said they will also take legal action as if this will deter us to follow our necessary steps to recover our money.
Be very careful using their service as if they don't perform they try to avoid any responsibility for their unprofessional behaviour

What a traumatic experience
I booked them for my son’s party yesterday. The set up s meant to start at 1pm. She ed to say she is late, she will be there at 1.30pm. At 1.45 I ed numerous times to see where she is. Then rudely got told she is picking up items in Sophia town at this point and doesn’t know how long it will take to get to me.
She then only rocked up to set up at 3pm which s a complete joke , 2hours later , the party s done.
This morning states she will not refund me because we refused for her to set up even though at the venue she said she will refund me.
But what must you set up for if the party is done? So I’m a bit baffled
The kids were so disappointed. No chairs , no decor , my poor baby. She showed zero remorse for this , oh well sorry for the inconvenience but I’ll still take your money. Do not use this business , unprofessional , unethical , pure disaster.
