We had our wedding at Forevermore Moments on very short notice, and we remain truly grateful for the care, effort, and openness shown to us throughout the process and afterward.
Planning a wedding in just two weeks could have been overwhelming, but the team at Forevermore Moments made it feel manageable and calm. They handled nearly everything for us — the venue, décor, catering, photography, DJ, officiant, and overnight accommodation — which allowed us to focus on enjoying our day rather than managing logistics.
What Forevermore Moments Does Exceptionally Well
The venue itself is magnificent. The gardens, river setting, and intimate layout create a naturally romantic atmosphere that feels private and special.
The décor s absolutely stunning!
With only a colour palette and a few inspiration images, Illze captured our vision perfectly. The dark, romantic aesthetic, flowers, candles, and lighting were thoughtfully curated and executed with great attention to detail. The result s elegant, moody, and exactly what we had hoped for.
The photography s excellent. The photographers selected by the venue were exceptional and worked seamlessly within the flow of the day, capturing both the big moments and the quiet, candid ones effortlessly.
Communication & Follow-Up
As with any live event, there were a few minor hiccups on the day. What stood out to us s how openly and respectfully these were addressed afterward. Illze took the time to engage with our feedback, reflect on it, and explain the changes she has already implemented to improve clarity for future couples.
We genuinely appreciate this level of professionalism and accountability. Knowing that our experience contributed to improved contracts, clearer package explanations, and refined processes gives us peace of mind and reinforces our confidence in the venue.

We had the best wedding ever, thanks to Ilse and het amazing team... She coordinated the wedding, provided us with a list of wedding vendors, did everything from the amazing food, flowers, printing and stationery - she even kept the groom calm.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and gives you a feeling of being home surrounded by loved ones.

Needs more seating for guests on the grass area , very hot needs some fans to cool guest but everything else s nice

To plan a wedding in four months is though, to plan it in the middle of a pandemic and while stuck in a different country is even more difficult. However, Illze and her team went above and beyond to make the planning effortless. They made sure that everything s absolutely perfect, including décor, stationary, catering, bouquets etc. I could not recommend them more for a beautiful intimate wedding.

We were looking for a good venue where we could host our parents' 35th anniversary and this venue s of wonderful quality. We really got more than we bargained for. Illze our host and her team were welcoming and catered to all our needs. We were treated with the utmost respect and she went out of her y to help us find what we were looking for in terms of additional service providers. I'll definitely nt to utilise this venue for my future events!

This place is a real gem. We had a baby shower for a friend at Forever moments and we had a great time. The venue is really beautiful and reasonably priced too. The owners have great customer service! We brought out own food and they had some food rmers ready for us in case we needed to use them. I s impressed by the service we got!❣️

We stumbled across this venue while searching on Google during lock-down and it s our absolute good fortune. What a beautiful venue. It is simply picturesque, with a wonderful rustic charm to it. The outdoor chapel is delightful, and the reception area is inviting and down-to-earth. On top of all that, Illze (who runs the venue) is a total magician and will take the stress out of wedding planning and running the day so that you can simply sit back and enjoy the whole experience. The décor s exactly what we nted; the food s delicious; the DJ and his wife (who sang beautifully at our reception) were fun and engaged. Overall, we could not have had a more perfect day, and it is all thanks to Illze and her team. On top of that, Illze helped us out with finding a last-minute local wedding officer (long story), as well as introducing us to some local photographers (Deon and Natalie) who were, like the whole place, down-to-earth, fun, and a total pleasure to be around. Not just that, but Illze also directed us to the Adler Restaurant so we and our guests (all of whom stayed over at the great selection of B&Bs) could enjoy breakfast the next day. The Heritage Museum is a must, the German food is brilliant and the beer (brewed on site) excellent.
In sum, Illze and Forevermore Moments is a total gem in the sleepy town of Heidelberg and our wedding day could not have been better. Before this, I sn’t even sure where Heidelberg s. Now, I’ll definitely be back for some more of that rm hospitality and relaxed charm. If you are thinking of a wedding venue a bit out of town from Jo’burg, you cannot go wrong here. Simply top class.

Very disappointed.
After barely finishing lunch, we were made aware that we had to leave in a very unwelcoming manner. The one staff member, is clueless as to how to deal with costumers. Wrong industry.
Regarding the venue, the eating area s very dark and lacked more staff to assist the clients. Apart from that, there is a small garden. Nothing much. Parking is very small.
Concluding, even a last minute small restaurant would have done a better job than this venue. And, we would have saved the booking fee.
Reply: Exactly my point. Zero kindness and understanding for the uncertainty of these events, and it's delivered in a bad manner! 1 hour later? I've got the money. Get out! PS Imagine if it s a wedding...

Overall an good experience but the tables for the weddings need some work as some broke in middle.
