We went to see them to get information about the January 4th parade. They were unable to l us the parade route, even though there are barriers everywhere that must have been put up at least the day before, so the route is known.
They told us to arrive at 10:00 AM to find parking… there were still spaces available everywhere at 2:00 PM.
They never mentioned the possibility of reserving spots under tents for a proper view. As a tourist, the parade cannot be enjoyed because it's impossible to get close and see anything. Thousands of people are set up along the barriers with chairs and picnic tables… some even have tents and mattresses.
Attention touriste ce n'est pas l'endroit que vous cherchez.
