We longed for the perfect venue for our small, intimate wedding, and we most definitely found it at The Tea Garden at Riverside Castle 💒❤️
From the moment we arrived, we knew this s the one. The setting s absolutely breathtaking — elegant, romantic, and filled with charm.
The staff were truly exceptional: professional, friendly, welcoming, and always attentive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
The décor, setup, and table arrangements were beautifully curated by Maids of Honour, with Selenta bringing our vision to life in the most magical y. The final result exceeded every expectation — it s even more beautiful than we had imagined.
From the bottom of our hearts, a huge thank you to Sihle and her incredible team for making our special day unforgettable. We will treasure these memories forever and thank you for making our Fairytale come true!

My wedding s 18 September 2025
The staff at Riverside castle absolutely outdid themselves. They did so much more than we paid them to do. As the bride, the wedding coordinator s very emotionally supportive and comforting in the nervous moments leading up to the wedding. She s very helpful and her and her staff packed the cutlery so gorgeously, it looked a bit empty after we decorated it ouselves at first but once the staff added their touch it s exactly what we dreamed of. They allowed us to stay the night before in the honeymoom suite so we could decorate our reception area. They absolutely went above and beyond even putting on the fairylights outside for us out of their own to make the reception more beautiful (usually that costs extra). Last minute we added daisies to our main table in the reception and the staff not only placed it there but trimmed and arranged the bouqet beautifully (once again out of their own).
I s absolutely blown away by the amazing service we recieved. I highly recommend using riverside castle as your wedding venue. It s a true princess experience, I never thought I would get married in a real life castle. It is every bit as beautiful as it sounds. I wish i could give 10 stars. I had my dream wedding in fact it s even better than I ever dreamed of. Thank you Riverside castle for making my dream come true❤️

The venue, food, decor and hospitality itself s amazing and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The specific DJ that we got s late for our appointment and I would not nt to use him again.

Had my 21st party here recently, and Riverside Castle vastly exceeded my expectations! The décor of the castle s stunning and tasteful. The venue and rooms were clean. The food s delicious, namely the pizza, and the Harvest Table s beautifully laid out. The DJ s talented. Staff were always friendly and organised. Would highly recommend for any event!

Our wedding could not have happened at a better venue. The scenery s fantastic, the accommodation s good, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food s fantastic. The associated decor lady and DJ were also excellent. The event coordinator, Nicolette, s also very helpful and present on the day. The admin side s a little slow as they had swapped to a new system but were still accommodating.
I would highly recommend this venue!

We had our wedding there a week ago. Everything they provided s amazing. Everyone told us what a stunning wedding we had. The only complaint we’d have s that the DJ that the venue assigned asked for a playlist from us then played whatever he nted on the day. He only really played our designated songs, and maybe 4 others. The rest of the music did not match our vibe whatsoever. He did play requested songs from guests at the end of the night, which s fun.
The decor s beautiful. Most of the food s amazing, the pork we had s dry though. The lamb s really delicious, and everyone loved the cheesy potato bake.
The wedding suite s really big and beautiful. And if you forget anything, they will bag it and contact you.
I highly recommend this place for any functions, not just weddings.

Oh my goodness what an incredible venue! We attended one of their night viewing events and were blown away! The castle really comes alive at night and the food and vibe really made it like an escape in the city. You are able to engage directly with preferred suppliers and take a tour around the grounds. Don't look any further for an amazing venue run by passionate people 👏🏻
