We’ve just had our year end function at Secret Garden for the 3rd year in a row! It s absolutely exceptional, and will be there again next year! Jamie and his team are really amazing. Nothing is too much for them, and they do whatever they can to help your vision come together, always going the extra mile.
The venue is gorgeous, beautifully maintained, and creates the perfect atmosphere, no matter what event you need it for. The staff are friendly, professional & wonderfully attentive. The service is just outstanding from start to finish. Our team has such an amazing time every year, and we’re always excited to go back again and again!
I highly recommend this venue for any corporate or private event. Truly a 5 star experience ⭐
Where to start, Words fail us...
We chose the Secret Garden in 2024, remotely while looking for venues online in JHB.
We chose them based on pictures and packages and what we found on their website and Instagram.
But...
Little did we know, none of these would ever suffice or do justice to the Magic that came to Life on our Perfect Day.
We drove down to the venue in June this year to see it for the first time and get a feel for it.
We met Jamie and his Dad and Instantly knew we had made the best decision for our Perfect Day.
Jamie is absolutely Phenomenal, accommodating, so approachable and easy going and honestly Hands Down Thee Best Venue Host we have Ever Met!!
His attention to detail, his patience, his kindness, his Heart!!!

My family and I had an unveiling ceremony on Saturday at the Secret Garden. I'm so incredibly grateful for the experience we had. Additionally, everyone spoke about how delicious the food s and how amazing the services were. We truly enjoyed ourselves all thanks to Jamie and his team.
We practically begged our kids to elope and save the cash, but they insisted on the big wedding. For once, I'm thrilled they didn't listen to us! The Secret Garden turned their dream weekend into unforgettable memories. Hats off to Jamie and his team!
The mancave, as I like to it, s our hangout spot on Thursday and Friday nights – a massive space perfect for braai and catching up with far-flung family. It s epic!
A special moment for me s capturing Jamie tching the wedding. It's wonderful to know he still feels the magic of weddings. He clearly loves what he does, and it shows. (He says it's because he likes to see grown men cry!🤣)

If you are looking for a function venue, I recommend this place. It has a mini bar, two beautiful halls, beautiful gardens and every corner is picture risque (for the bloggers/influencers).

Right from the beginning, the initial engagement, you were friendly, easy to get along with and professional. You guided and supported us with our many questions.
The venue s absolutely stunning, from gardens, the accommodation, the chapel and the reception hall. All are excellently maintained and beautiful.
The food we selected left nothing to be desired. We thoroughly enjoyed Aunty Cynthia's potato bake, Mocorran Chicken and the Lamb Spit roast - these were absolute winners. All the food s amazing, even the finger snacks. The iters were friendly and served healthy portions.
Your bar had a wide selection of well priced drinks. And the bar staff were friendly and delivered great service.
I think we really received value for money. We can't fault the venue, staff or you in anyway.
It s also special and reassuring knowing that you were on the venue on the wedding day to overlook and ensure everything ran smoothly.
A real special touch s being able to meet your dad on our 1st or 2nd visit to the venue. He has such a great sense of humor and made us feel invited and comfortable.

Function venue, neat accommodation. Rooms were clean, lls were thin and we could hear the person next door snoring. Lovely stoep and it would have been nice to have some comfy chairs.
