Yes, you’re welcome to collect and return your order directly from our Johannesburg rehouse.

You can schedule a visit to our Johannesburg rehouse to view our event furniture and décor stock in person.

What is included in the mobile bar service?

Urbantonic provides the mobile bar structure and any respective structural equipment with that specific bar e.g. sh basins, beer taps, etc.. In addition, if ordering from our Cape Town office, you can choose to have beverages supplied on an on-consumption basis, or you can source the drinks yourself. Likewise, in Cape Town, bar staff can be provided on request but this is an additional cost.

Can you create themed bars for specific events?

Yes, Urbantonic can offer various creative options including (but not limited to) champagne stations, themed gin bars with botanicals, Aperol spritz bars, whisky tastings, etc. to match your event’s theme and brief. Furthermore, hired bars can be customised to your event, including painting and/or vinyl applications e.g. company branding or bespoke design.

Are the bartenders trained for high-pressure environments?

Absolutely. All bar staff are well trained in house for all bar requirements and especially for live events where speed of service and flow are essential. If you require a specific style of bar staff e.g. cocktails or flaring, this can be arranged.

Do you provide glassware with the bar service?

In Cape Town, glassware can also be hired through Urbantonic but it is not necessarily included with the hire of any bar structures. If you require glassware hire, please mention this to your event client specialist for a range of options to suit your event.

Where is this service available?

Bar hire is available in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. However, additional services such as drink making equipment, glassware hire, bar staffing and beverage sales are only available from our Cape Town office.

What does your décor styling service involve?

This service includes concept-driven styling, sourcing of décor elements, lounge pocket styling, table styling (including centre-pieces), greenery or floral installations and hiring thereof.

Can you handle the set-up and breakdown of the décor?

Yes, our team provides reliable and thorough execution from the initial set-up to the final strike, night or day, come rain or shine. You do not need to lift a finger and all property will be respected and treated with care.

Do you offer floral design?

Floral services are offered for select events. For a full floral brief, it is best to discuss your specific needs with their styling team during your consultation.

Is the décor service available for corporate events?

Yes, Urbantonic specialises in styling for conferences, gala dinners, and exhibitions, often integrating brand-specific elements and colour palettes into the design.

Do I need to hire furniture from you to use the styling service?

While the styling service integrates seamlessly with Urbantonic’s hiring range, our team can provide creative direction and/or event conceptualisation even if you have other core infrastructure in place.

What types of event staff can I hire?

Urbantonic provides professional itstaff for plated dinners, buffets, and canapé service, as well as dedicated set-up and "strike" (breakdown) crews for furniture and décor installations. Urbantonic can also provide trained bar staff for any style of beverage requirement.
