This place is all about the atmosphere and food. The overwhelming pink flower and high tea theme is so much fun. Perfect location for coffee with a special friend or group of friends, birthdays and special times. The food is unique, well presented, interesting and extremely delicious especially the pastries. Even the drinks are presented in such interesting and fun ys. This is not just a restaurant, it is a beautiful and delicious experience.
Beautiful pink themed restaurant. Delicious food, cakes, and desserts. Paratha wraps were excellent as usual. Our iter s a bit distracted, and the mini pancakes arrived about 45 minutes after the rest of the food. However, will certainly return!
A great selection of pastries as well as hot and cold beverages. The cakes are delicious. The place is thematically well decorated and quite instagram ready. The staff and managers are very attentive and welcoming. It's well niched quite noticeable with the balcony of flowers. The place is also very trendy and rightfully so because the cake are very tasty.
This place is so pretty 😍. What I loved the most about it is that it sn't packed at all. We could freely take pictures without even disturbing anyone. It s such a delight to be there. The food s pleasing to the eye but what I ordered (ffle with chicken strips) s aaay too salty. The drinks were the star of the show so beautiful. I would definitely come here again.
We were at the mall and stumbled upon the restaurant, it looks very cute, so we decided to dine here (didn't take a lot to convince us).
The setup is really, very pretty. The music s rather loud and a little annoying as our table s right next to it (bad choice of table from our part though).
Nevertheless, we were there for the food. Our food did take some time to arrive, and at some point, our itress s missing, but it s okay as we were in no rush.
The food s just okay, some dishes were better than others. The plating s done very well, though.
Overall, it is a cute restaurant with average food.
I recently visited Shazmin's and s pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The café exudes a beautiful and calming atmosphere, with just the right hint of feminine charm. It sn't overly busy, which made for a more intimate and relaxing setting. The highlight of my visit s the impeccable service from our itress, Diana. She s attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food, of course, s delectable, living up to the café's reputation. If you're looking for a cozy spot with tasty dishes and top-notch service, this is your go-to place! Highly recommend.
Shazmins is an all pink "luxe" patisserie. From the outside it looks idyllically placed at Nelson Mandela Square, and while it looks vibey and interesting, it ends there. There is no physical menu, you need to view the menu from a QR code pasted to the table. Unfortunately this feature makes the spot feel impersonal similar to a serve yourself diner. The menu is also not very user friendly. While many dishes have photos, some do not, which adds to the unprofessional feel that the it staff provide. The dishes sound interesting and exciting, albeit that some seem to test the boundaries - which can be a great idea on a gastronomic level. Crockery s served chipped. Coffee s weak and nothing to right home about. The breakfast sounded divine, beetroot infused Eggs Benedict on croissant - yum. The beetroot hollandaise had split Unfortunately. The eggs were inconsistent, I had one raw and one hard. The beetroot hummus s inspired though and in my opinion, what should replace the hollandaise on the plate. While our experience s not great, I sincerely hope that this s an off day, as the idea and look of the patisserie could make for epic girls breakfast/brunch day out, kitchen teas etc.
What a beautiful and restaurant!! Food s excellent and so were the drinks. The presentation is top notch. Coming from Chicago to this pretty in pink gem s an amazing experience. Our server Philani s on top of things and an excellent added value. My nephew had the Philly steak and he said it s amazing. My mom had the dynamite shrimp and loved it. I had the signature sliders. I found the beef slightly bland but the chicken and falafel sliders were phenomenal. The cheeseburger my niece had s good and my sister loved the beef brisket truffle fries. Our entire party loved the experience and especially the food and the ambiance.
Attended my niece’s bridal shower at this beautiful venue in Sandton. Everything s perfect! Compliments to the excellent variety of food that s served which included both savoury and sweet, the lovely ambience of this beautiful venue and the wonderful service received! Highly recommended!
