Very Disappointing Experience at Diara Cu Kids Play Park
I took my two granddaughters to Diara Cu Kids Play Park hoping for a fun afternoon of play and pizza, but unfortunately the experience s extremely disappointing.
Upon arrival, we were not welcomed at all. We were immediately told there is a charge of R50 per child, which we had no issue with. However, we were never asked the children’s ages until after payment. When I asked from what age they charge, only then were the ages requested, and I s told only one child should have been charged. This s poorly handled from the start.
We were told we could order food, but we struggled to find a clean table. The play area itself s unkempt and clearly not well maintained. The children became hungry and thirsty, yet there s no iter, no menu, and no service for a long time. Eventually my granddaughter had to go and look for a itress. Despite the play area not being busy and there being three iters on duty, they remained in the reception area and did not attend to tables.
The children’s pizza took an extremely long time to arrive. We had to ask several times, and during this entire period there s zero table service. No one cleared our table or nearby tables that had been vacated long before. Once I finally complained, our pizza arrived very quickly, which made the earlier delay even more frustrating. By then, the children were tired and nted to leave.
A manageress came to address the complaint, but her appearance s unprofessional and her attitude lacked basic people skills. She explained that food takes long because it has to be collected from the restaurant, which made little sense considering how quickly our pizza arrived after we complained.
I ordered a bottle of wine but could not enjoy it due to the dirty surroundings and strong wind blowing serviettes, menus, empty bottles, and Coke lids around, as nothing s being cleared. We also asked for garlic with the pizza and were told it s not possible.
We ended up taking the children’s pizza home, only to find it s of very poor quality — hard and tasteless, like cardboard. In the end, we paid a high bill for poor food, terrible service, and unpleasant surroundings. The pizza went straight into the bin.
This s a very disappointing experience, and we will definitely not be returning.

This is an absolute rip off!
How can you charge 3x the price for a bottle of wine which is easily accessible next door for R99.
I will never ever come back.

Another nice experience at CU Kids today at D'Aria. The lady that s working there today 22/12/2025 deserves a bonus. She s the only person working and s up and down alone fetching food and taking it to customers, serving customers at the little kiosk and still had time to be really kind and friendly to my children

A lovely spot for a birthday party, or even just a play date where our kids can play safely and the parents enjoy some time to sit down and relax.
Yummy food, decently priced.
(The pizzas are definitely recommended!)

Experience s terrible. Unfriendly staff and so combative. Makes no sense why D’aria would have them on the premises.

Great kids party venue and play area serving a basic food menu with all the favourites.

Enjoyed it, the staff were very friendly, helpful, the park is a great outdoor play park, the pricing is very reasonable with no time limits a great venue for birthday parties, we didn't need a toilet but I'm sure there is one in the restaurant above. Would recommend above similar playparks due to staff, venue, pricing.

A great place for the kids to have fun. No so good for the adults.

Decided to take my 1 year old out for day today ended up at D'Aria. Had to pay R100 entry fee for my little one to use the facility. I find that ridiculous. Please really look at half price for small little kids.
