They offer a massive variety across multiple genres, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I understand that rental costumes are worn to many parties and events, but a number of the items I viewed felt quite worn. Unfortunately, I decided not to rent on this occasion and chose another supplier.
If you looking for a fancy dress costume or anything wierd, wonderful and all things in between! Hollywood Costumes are the place for you. If you can't find what you looking for, then it might not exist! Staff are extremely helpful, thank you guys!!!

If you get invited to a costume party, feel like dressing up for Halloween or need costumes for a theatre show or film shoot, you are likely to find everything you are looking for at Hollywood Costumes. It's easy to write this review as myself, my friends and colleagues all had so much fun dressing up at this place. The staff are so helpful and there are so many fun options for people of all ages and sizes. Can't it to go back.
Hollywood Costumes is hands down the BEST in the business! They have thousands upon thousands of options – from costumes, tuxedos, wedding dresses, evening gowns, steampunk outfits, and even a full professional dancing section, plus an absolutely massive kids’ collection. Whether you’re looking for a fairytale Cinderella costume or the scariest horror villain, this is the go-to place!
You can rent or buy from them, and if they don’t already have exactly what you’re looking for, they’ll create it for you. They also offer tailoring, their service is fantastic, their prices are unbeatable, and the quality is outstanding. I can’t recommend Hollywood Costumes enough – whatever you need, they’ll have it (or make it!).

Friendly, efficient, welcoming staff. Our costumes were packed and ready on time. School concert? No worries. Check with Hollywood costumes and see if they can assist. The premises are huge, and we doubt you wouldn't be able to find what you need. Lights. Camera, Hollywood costumes.
Good variety of clothes for any dress-up party imaginable. The shop assistants seem to know where to find what in the very clothes-crowded halls. It's a bit pricy, approx R150 per person and a R200 deposit (March 2018), and some clothes are more worse for the wear than others. The dressing rooms are a bit small for getting dressed in big clothes, unless you don't mind other dressers seeing you!
