We spent 5 nights at Faraway Estate over Christmas with our family of 20 and it s so special, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or hosts. Sonja is so lovely and welcoming and nothing s too much trouble despite it being Christmas. The house s immaculate, with everything there you could imagine from an incredibly well-purposed kitchen to games for the family, a jukebox that kept us entertained for hours and special touches like supplying us with their own delicious jams, olives and olive oil.
Such a treat in every y and we just didn’t nt to leave. Thank you to Helmare for organizing the booking and making sure everything s perfect for when we arrived.

Holy moly, Faraway Estate is the best location ever. Not only is this location the absolute best for weddings with beautiful scenery, but works amazingly well for team building, too.

It's beautiful and quiet, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. It's a very beautiful place to have a small wedding. I went there for a birthday party and it s very good. All you need to do is bring your clothes, swimsuits, and food. have everything at there. (Bring plastic bowls for children by the y.) It is recommended as a small party or wedding venue.👍🏻👍🏻

2. Enough entertainment, from croquet, to tennis, bowls, a pool and that's just at the house - the area also hosts a range of activities including some amazing wine farms.
3. Excellent hosts that goes above and beyond to make your stay special.
I can guarantee you'll be getting non-stop compliments from friends and family about how awesome you are if you take them to Faraway. Cannot recommend it enough!
Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, private , perfectly positioned estate. Makes for the most amazing getaway especially for a large group nting to relax and enjoy good company . An experience we will never forget. From booking with Helmare, to Sonja the owner they bent over backwards to make sure we were accommodated in every sense. The house in truly incredible, so well kept after, beautiful and literally has everything you need to have a great time. Book a weekend here, you will not regret it.
I think this is the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life it has the luxury of the home but the beauty of a English manor. It has the best mountain bike and trail running tracks with the luxury of being close to the best beaches and wine estates. You should definitely go check this place out
