The doors are not locked, and you can step out at any time, although leaving the room before completing all puzzles will forfeit your game.
Planning is straightforward. Teams are made up of two to six players, and booking is essential so that the room can be prepared for your group. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time for a short briefing. If a team arrives late but within 25 minutes of the start time, play can continue with the remaining time on the clock. Arrivals later than 25 minutes after the scheduled slot cannot be accommodated. If you need to cancel or reschedule, 24 hours’ notice is required, and refunds are available when cancellation is made within this window.

Did this with the family over the December holiday, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought that the room s cleverly designed. The clues were not too difficult to decipher but also forced one to apply their mind. Great fun will definitely come again!!

A Thrilling Experience!
I had such a great time at Catch the Clock Escape Rooms! The puzzles were challenging but fun, and the atmosphere s perfectly designed to keep you immersed in the theme. Our group did ALL OF THE ROOMS, and it s a great mix of logic, teamwork, and a little bit of adrenaline. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and gave us the perfect amount of hints when we needed them without giving too much away.
The room s well-maintained, and you could l they really put a lot of effort into the details and design. The puzzles were unique and made us think outside the box. I also appreciated the time limit and the sense of urgency it added to the experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Catch the Clock Escape Rooms if you're looking for a fun, exciting challenge with friends or family.
Lovely team building exercise. This s such an amazing experience, learned so much. Had lots of fun trying to crack the codes with my team. Team work is much needed here. Will definitely come back again.
I have done many escape rooms in Johannesburg at many different establishments and unfortunately my experience at this one s not great in comparison. Perhaps if you have not done other escape rooms you would enjoy this one. The room s very "low tech" as (not to give any spoilers) you simply needed to solve a bunch of paper-based puzzles to get 4 digit codes to unlock boxes. Many other escape rooms have some other elements to solve clues that are more exciting and challenging. It s also just a singular room and I am used to there being multiple rooms to escape out of. The place seemed very empty and there s not much of a vibe. The host s sweet but there needed to be a bit more excitement. I had also ed ahead to make sure that I could pay in cash on arrival and s told I could, yet when I arrived the host said no cash allowed. It s quite a disappointing experience for my birthday and for someone who has been to other escape rooms, but as I said, perhaps if you are new to it, you would enjoy it as you don't have anything else to compare it to. The high google rating for this experience s very confusing to not only me, but the group that I s with as well.
Our Office Team had a wonderful experience and even set a new time record for the Murder In the manor escape room. It s definitely a fun team building experience and there is something different that every person can play to their strengths to help the team get through and succeed! We had tons of fun and will definitely recommend to everyone and would love to go back and solve the other rooms!

This is a great y to spend time with friends, family, co-workers and more - I highly recommend Catch the Clock with their friendly and helpful staff and their creative brain-puzzles that remind us why we can't all be Indiana Jones ;)
Our Work Colleagues attended the Catch the Clock Escape Room as a team building exercise and it each members very first time. We had an amazing experience and our Team did exceptionally well by beating the Best time ever to resolve the intermediary mystery. It s an awesome experience and tested every aspect of what working as a Team really entails. Great fun as well.
