Great local bar where you feel like family. Bar service is always great. Unfortunately, the itresses are always unfriendly and uninterested. Had to request that the tomato sauce bottles be refilled and serviettes be provided more than once.

The beer is cold and the staff advises you on specials. User friendly entrances(All accessible) . Parking is good. Music is great. Many pool tables for you and your mates. Slots are also available for that little bit of luck that you'll be feeling.

Chicken schnitzel Thursdays used to be the best. While anyone can understand rising costs. Imagine the disappointment of referring your friends there for the amazing food and to again take guests there and be super disappointed. Portions shrunk to a quarter of what it s and an hour and 20 minutes for 4x chicken schnitzels.
Dry and unsatisfactory and yes. I did bring it under their attention and noted that I would update my previous review. Service s still friendly though.

We sat outside, we had to it a long time for a iter, eventually when she arrived we asked for a beer bucket and a coke, it took atleast 10min to arrive at our table. The iter disappeared, we drank 2 beers from the bucket I stood up went inside returned the bucket paid for the 2 beers and coke and left. We had such great expectation as it s under new management/ownership and we were in the mood for burgers. I will think twice in going back. My solution to the problem, if the new owners/management will consider it, is to get one or two additional iter/s to assist the people outside, it will contribute more to getting and retain customers than losing value income. I am more than willing to take the new owners/management to other establishments to show them the ropes of having satisfied customers.

Good service, food could be better. Had a sandwich, but bread s hard, even for toast. No music played whilst we were there, so that could change the vibe. Nice local pub to grab a quick bite.

Hmm this s a Sunday afternoon in their defense but man s i disappointed. The first place i went to s closed due to load shedding and i had no choice but go here. Front the parking lot I could hear there's some kind of live music going on and the vibe sounded lively. I s iting for people to come from Menlyn to join me there. When I got there I s surprised by the small amount of people that s present. In spite of this there were no signs of the itresses and I ited for a very long time before getting served. In fact I got up and went to the bar counter and ordered my own drink from the bar and then had to lk back to the outside table. I nted to order food but no one offered me a menu. Shortly after opening my beer a drunken person came and made himself at home at my table and refused to leave. He also kept bugging me and I decided to move to another empty table and s followed there also. Then i finished my drink and left. Halfway down the stairs a itress shouted to me if i s okay or if i nted to order something off the menu. I didn't even respond. Pretty sure it's the last time they will ever see me

Thought it would be a great place but after the continuous disrespect and awful behaviour of the family/friends we experienced, I will never recommend this place at all. You should not only be respectful in business but in private life as well.

I had a 3rd incedent there where the staff screw me over.. dont trust anyone there. First time s when i bought shosmts for me and a friend, and some other dude came and drank 1 after i had told him it's not his and the barlady and manageress stood there doing nothing. Second s some dude making a scene over the pooltable and coz they are regulars there, no one did anything regarding fairness. 3rd time s the barlady stealing from me, charging me more for shots than the actual price, and only corrected herself after i bought another round of shots from the other barlady which charged me less... for that. I wont go back. The manageress doesnt seem to care that her staff is stealing from customers
